 It was a windy and rain day for shooting.

In Rifle, we had 6 shooters this month.  A few of us had issues, I had a squib load that barely made it to the berm, Bob had a big gust of wind in offhand cause one flier, and Allen had one shot just go missing.

March 2022 Results

 Thanks to everyone who shot today.  Congratulations to the match winners and top 50% who earned the highly coveted TCGC retro/retread Vintage Medals.  

In Rifle, we had 12 shooters shooting this month.  Brian McLaren won the rifle match with an outstanding score of 190-7 shooting his M1 Garand.   

In Pistol Frank Burke was the match winner out of a field of 8 shooters competing in the new 'save some ammo' shooting 36 round format with an almost perfect score.

Rifle scores were good this month with 5 of seven shooters shooting in the 180's on those minty new vintage targets!  Ben and Ted both cleaned the Prone slow fire stage.  Sean got a solid 8 'V''s including 7 in Sitting.

August 2021 Results

In Rifle, we had 11 shooters shooting this month.  The Rifle of the Month was Snipers and Cheaters(vintage match rifles) and we had a good representation with a PU sniper, a Venezuelan FN-49 sniper, and a repro Swede 41B.  Eric and Frank tied for top shooters tying in both overall and prone slow fire scores.  In respect for the Olympics they called it a draw hugged and shared the gold medal:).  Allen was right behind by one point with his .308 match Garand.  

Scores in Pistol were very good today with a nice mix of pistols.  Eric and Ben were neck and neck, Ben with a nice Inglis high power with tangent sight, and Eric with a very pretty stainless birdhead grip Ruger .32 SA.   Congrats to the top 50% in both matches!

In Rifle, we had 7 shooters shooting the Rifle of the Month, .30 cal Vintage US Service Rifles, and all the shooters shot genuine US military rifles to celebrate the July 4th weekend. Patriotic slogans were shared amongst the shooters. It was a fine day to celebrate Uncle Sam's Birthday weekend by shooting real American vintage rifles. God Bless America!

April 2021 Results

We had great weather and a nice turnout today.  We were able to successfully run 3 relays in the same time it takes us to normally run two, which will allow us to expand capacity for future matches up to 16 entrants even with the temporary social distancing measures.  

In the rifle match the M1 Garand shooters showed up en Masse with 7 of the 13 entrants including 3 of the top 4 places! Frank shot a very solid 195 with an incredible 16 V's.  Ted was runner up coming off a great showing last month with an extremely competitive 189-7. 

Scores in pistol were great, I think this is one of the first times all shooters have been above 400! Curtis and Bob shot one of their best scores.

March 2021 Results

 We had great weather and a full turnout for our first match of 2021.  Congrats to Ted Schrader for taking the win by one X over Frank Burke!  Scores were really good this month with many great scores in the top 50%!  We had a nice assortment of rifles as well from swiss straight pulls to M-14 and M16 styles and a Czech made 7mm mauser south american contract rifle.

In pistol scores were also great.  Frank set a new record of 480-45X with his new GI configured kimber, Eric got second with his new Colt Police positive special and Bob and Alex were close behind.  Curtis had a really cute Astra 300 in 32 acp as well.

October 2020 Results

 We had a smaller turnout this month mostly due to hunting season.  Weather was fantastic, sunny and warm.  Eric brought out a neat 8mm danish krag rifle just edging out Ted with V count to claim 2nd place! Sean brought out a neat PTR-91 and Curtis brought his M44 we nicknamed "Thumper"  It was semis versus revolvers in pistol.  Eric shot a nice score with his Vaquero and Alex did as well with his P-38.  Curtis had some trouble with his new SAA and dropped a few rounds.  Congrats to the top 50% of shooters this month.  We will start again in March, see you then and have a safe holiday season!

September 2020 results

Great day for a Labor Day Match.   Rifle of the month was Vintage Snipers and Vintage match rifles(ROM).  The field brought out a good variety of vintage firearms with Stock GI, Snipers, military match, and unlimited vintage rifles of all nationalities represented.

Eric won the rifle match with a fine score (194-7V) shooting his new to him 1903 Springfield 

military match rifle.  The Burke Boys took #1 and #2 in Pistol leaving the crumbs for the rest 

of the field.

Aug 2020 Results

We had a nice turnout and very nice weather for the match today.   With no rifle of the month theme there was a good representation of vintage models and makes.

Frank took the day for rifle with a solid 191 but not before leaving the door open to challengers by dropping a couple of points.  But no one rose to the occasion to dethrone the course record holder.  Eric was first runner up with the sweet shooting Swede and a 189.  Ted Schrader had a fine 47 with 3 V's in offhand with a true blue red blooded American M1 Garand.  Ted gave Frank a run for his money - Only an unfortunate jammed round kept him out of the winner circle.

In Pistol, scores were very close today with 3rd and 4th separated by one X, and Ben with an outstanding score with his P-1.  We had a nice mix of pistols from 1917's, M-40 Lahti's to Schofields.  Congrats to the top 50% in both rifle and pistol.
