Match Information

Vintage Military Rifle competition is a fun way to use those military collectibles in a competition environment. Rifles  for the match should have been designed/issued before 1961 and were general issue to troops.   

Rifles must be in as-issued configuration and caliber, no bedding or match parts, original barrel contours and original style battle sights. 

Rifle Targets are set at 200 yards on the 200/300 rifle range.  We shoot 10 rounds for record in each position including slow fire prone, rapid fire prone, rapd fire sitting, and slow fire standing.  Rapid fire stages require a reload, and slings may be used for all positions except standing.  The 1950's era 5V target is used. Round count is 40 shots plus 2 optional sighters before shooting for score in prone only.


Matches are held at a private club open to members and their guests.
