Thanks to everyone for coming out, braving the storms and shooting with us today on this 76th Anniversary of the D-Day Normandy landings.
Congratulations to Frank for winning the rifle and pistol match and setting a new Club record. And to Ted Schrader who won 'Best of the Rest' in Rifle with a very solid 191 !. Ben Lalonde won 'Best of the Rest' in pistol with 449.
Next match is July 4th. We will use the same range procedures and do advanced sign up for up to 10 shooters. We are going to bring back 'Theme of the Month' for July and September.
July's theme will be United States of America .30cal Service rifles - so bring out your US 30-40 Krag, Springfield, M1917, Garand. You can even bring out your Johnson rifle. M1A's count if they meet the 'as Issued' service rifle criteria. September we will have a theme of the month for Vintage Snipers and 'As issued' Military Target open sight Target rifles with a slightly modified course of fire. Examples of Vintage Military Target rifles is the Finn 28-76 or Swedish CG 63. As usual you can also shoot any vintage rifle for score or modern rifles for exhibition.
